We're Looking For A: Senior Generative Search Specialist owns both the strategy and the technical tooling needed to secure brand visibility inside AI-generated answers (Google AI Overviews/SGE, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.). The role blends classical SEO thinking (authority, semantics, E-E-A-T) with modern LLM tactics (prompt engineering, vector retrieval, fine-tuning) to measure, influence, and safeguard how our products and messages surface in generative search dialogs.

Location: Woodland Hills, CA (Hybrid)

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Strategic Frameworks: Define ranking levers for each major SGE/LLM surface, map them to traditional SEO signals, and build quarterly playbooks for content, link, and technical teams.
  • Tooling & Automation: Design Python pipelines that: (a) scrape/refresh AI-generated answers at scale, (b) classify sentiment & factual accuracy, and (c) alert on hallucinations or brand gaps.
  • Generative Content Experimentation: Prototype RAG-based content modules (e.g., "FAQ copilot" blocks, data-injected snippets) and run A/B tests to prove lift in SGE inclusion, CTR, or mention share.
  • LLM Fine-Tuning & Guardrails: Create lightweight fine-tunes or embeddings collections so internal chatbots echo current product claims and comply with regulatory language.
  • Cross-Functional Enablemen: Run quarterly workshops for Brand, Legal, and CX teams on "How AI sees us" and embed guardrails into briefing templates.
  • Data Storytelling & Reporting: Publish an executive dashboard with a "Brand Share of Voice in AI" index, backed by statistically significant sampling.
  • Innovation Scouting: Track emerging LLM search surfaces, run pilots, and propose budget for promising bets.

  • 5 + yrs hands-on technical & content SEO experience; schema, internal linking, E-E-A-T.
  • Solid Python, Pandas, SQL, REST skills; including prototyping with LangChain or LlamaIndex; basic model fine-tuning
  • Knowledge of A/B test design, causal inference basics, Tableau/Looker or Streamlit dashboards.
  • Ability to translate ML insights into non-technical language; workshop facilitation.
  • Experience manipulating knowledge graphs / entity SEO
  • Spark or BigQuery for high-volume scraping; experience with vector DBs (Pinecone, Weaviate).
  • Statistical modeling (Bayesian, uplift modeling).
  • Public-facing thought-leadership or conference speaking.
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or Marketing.
  • Master's in a quantitative field preferred

The base salary range is $100,000 - $150,000, plus annual & monthly KPI bonus potential.
