Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Partnerships Manager to drive fundraising, corporate sponsorships, and grant development efforts for a national nonprofit organization. This is a high-impact role focused on expanding revenue streams through effective relationship management, collaborative strategy, and performance-driven campaigns.
The ideal candidate combines a strong background in fundraising or partnership development with experience executing cross-functional initiatives that align funder priorities with organizational goals.

Revenue & Fund Development

• Build and implement comprehensive annual revenue plans
• Identify, qualify, and pursue funding from corporate sponsors, foundations, and major donors
• Lead the grant development lifecycle including research, writing, submission, and reporting
• Maintain a strong pipeline of funding opportunities across sectors

Partnership Management & Activation

• Serve as the primary relationship manager for key sponsors and funders
• Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of partnership deliverables
• Collaborate with program and marketing teams to align activations with brand objectives and engagement goals

Campaign Reporting & Analysis

• Define KPIs for sponsorships and grants and report on campaign ROI and engagement outcomes
• Prepare tailored updates, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with internal teams to support content, communications, and events related to sponsorship and grant fulfillment
• Ensure messaging and outreach remain aligned with institutional priorities and partner expectations

Representation & Outreach

• Attend relevant events, networking opportunities, and briefings to represent the organization and strengthen external relationships
• Develop and manage stewardship strategies to retain and grow funder relationships

Market Research & Innovation

• Monitor trends in corporate social responsibility, grantmaking, and nonprofit funding
• Recommend new approaches and best practices for diversifying revenue

• 5+ years of experience in fundraising, partnerships, or grant management within a nonprofit or mission-driven organization
• Demonstrated success in securing funding from corporate and foundation partners
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in proposal development and donor engagement
• Experience with CRM and grant management systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or fundraising certification preferred
• Occasional travel required
