ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented System Administrator , to join our team in Hanover, MD . The team delivers enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global workforce performing a wide range of missions in defense of our Nation. This effort is the contract vehicle for the Enterprise Infrastructure Services organization overseeing MPO’s Enterprise Information Technology (EIT). EIT is MPO’s backbone- platform for all Enterprise users. Data Center & Compute Services is the EIS enabling organization working with customers, Integrated Product Teams (IPT), and vendors to deliver select EIT.
Responsibilities Included but are not limited to:
Responsible for several hundred servers in a test environment running a wide variety of Operating Systems to include Windows, Red Hat Linux, CentOS, Fedora Core, BSD, Solaris and Debian.
Responsible for managing a wide range of Linux services to include Apache, Radius, TACACS, NIS, DNS, Syslog, NetBackup, LDAP, iptables (firewall) and NTP.
Responsible for managing VMWARE ESXi cluster using VCenter running on Cisco UCS blade servers.
Responsible for managing NetApp storage system running clustered data ontap with several hundred terabytes of space.
Responsible for keeping all devices patched in accordance with SSP security standards.
Responsible for modifying the configuration of Cisco networking devices.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional Systems Administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Twenty (20) years experience as a Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in implementing solutions with PKI-controlled access is desired.
Understanding networking components is desired.
Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.
Security + CE certified is desired.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.
