Job Description
Palmdale currently operates in more than 50 counties across Florida and provides a wide range of tailored commercial fuel and lubricant solutions to customers in the agricultural, industrial, construction, marine, and government sectors. Operating out of 15 locations statewide, the company is a leader in the industry in the procurement and sale of gasoline, diesel, biodiesel, commercial and industrial lubricants, and chemicals that are used across a diverse set of end markets. We are currently recruiting a Propane Bobtail Driver at our Stuart location.
Job responsibilities •Operates a Bobtail truck as directed that transports between the facility and multiple destinations.•Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery and/or pick-up of fuels to ensure timely service.
•Makes deliveries of propane in accordance with customer needs and company policies.
•Maintains telephone contact with home terminal/dispatch center to receive delivery instructions or notices of changes in route or schedule to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
•Responsible for daily inspection of vehicle (pre-post trip), ensuring proper function of all safety related features of the vehicle at all times, including refueling as needed.
