Job Summary-: 

We are seeking an Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. You must have an associate degree in Cath Lab or radiology; certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is a plus. Our ideal candidate knows how to work on various Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology Procedure efficiently, can make patients feel comfortable before and during the procedures and care involved, and coordinates with the patient's physician to ensure the results are received in a timely manner. You also must be familiar with medical terminology and be able to stand for extended periods.

 

Job Responsibilities-: 

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable
• Insert IVs when necessary for the test
• Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information
• Patient care tasks as needed

Requirements-: 

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Must have recent Travel Experience
• Level I Trauma Center Preferred
• ACLS, BLS, CCI RCIS
• Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures
  REQUIRED : Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella insertion, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Right heart catheterization, Rotablader athrectomy, Temporary Pacemaker, Ventricular Assist Device Insertion
• Washington License Required

ACLS, BLS, CCI RCIS and Washington License Required
