Job Details

• RN CVICU position at Summa Health, Akron Campus in Ohio.
• Requires 2+ years of RN experience.
• Floating is required.
• Resume must include EPIC experience within the last year.
• Scrub color: solid black.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required.

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of RN experience.
• EPIC experience within the last year required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Must provide valid government issued photo ID.
• Must pass unit specific competency exams and skills checklists.
• Must provide immunization and health records including MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, Varicella, Tdap, and TB testing.
• Must pass background checks and drug screening as per facility requirements.

Schedule Information

• Block schedule requests accepted on a case-by-case basis.
• Return to Office (RTO) due at time of submission with a maximum of 7 days allowed.
• Floating is required.

Unit Specific Information

• Unit specific competency exam required.
• Summa Skills Checklist and EKG/Telemetry exams required.
• Summa Core Competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission NPSG, OSHA topics required within 90 days of start and updated annually.

Additional Details

• Candidates submitted with more than 7 days RTO will be rejected.
• COVID-19 vaccine required prior to start, with medical or religious exemptions approved case-by-case.
• Annual updates required for certain certifications and health requirements.
• Multiple facility-specific exams and checklists required annually.
