Job Description & RequirementsWCS Healthcare is currently seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Nurse at a prestigious hospital in Albany, NY. Travelers can earn up to $2,400 per week for this role.
Job Function:
\nPrepare and administer prescribed medications via oral, subcutaneous, or intravenous routes, ensuring accurate documentation in patient records.
\nMonitor patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments and report findings promptly, adhering to established protocols for medication administration.
\nProvide comprehensive education to patients regarding surgical procedures, including preoperative and postoperative care.
\nAccurately record and monitor patients' medical information and vital signs, promptly identifying and addressing any deviations from normal parameters.
\nOperate and adjust specialized equipment used in surgical procedures, interpreting and recording electronic displays to assist in patient care.
