Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Dispatch Team Lead, the Driver will be responsible for proper, safe and efficient operation of Brookaire vans and/or trucks. Delivering orders in a quick, safe, and efficient manner. Providing exceptional customer service to technicians, office managers, and other customer-provided contacts both in person and over the phone.

Responsibilities:

• Operate according to established Driver SOPs (Standard Operator Procedures).
• Thoroughly check vehicle at the beginning and end of shifts for unsafe issues, identify and communicate needed repairs, damage, or any other issue that could deem the vehicle inoperable.
• Delivering orders within the given time windows.
• Communicating with customers to coordinate deliveries upon arrival to a given location.
• Updating the Dispatch Team Lead on any delays/missing filters/or other issues pertaining to deliveries.
• Performing daily cleanup of the inside (Both cab and cargo area) of vehicles.
• Loading and unloading orders/boxes/or pallets on and off the truck.
• Effectively delivering boxes to the customer which may include carrying boxes into an establishment or to a customers vehicle.
• Taking and uploading clear and accurate PODs (photos of deliveries) into Workwave app.
• Obtaining clear signatures of customers upon deliveries.
• Any additional tasks that may be needed to assist the daily operation of Dispatch.

Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions:

• Bending at waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, crouching as job may require.
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds and remain on your feet during an 8-hour work shift.
• Working at high noise levels.
• Working in high traffic areas while identifying and avoiding any possible risks of harm to yourself, the customer, or to company property.
• Ability to handle high pressure/ time sensitive situations on a daily basis.
• Ability to read programs and manuals, and on road DOT signage.
• Ability to operate and pull pallet jacks.
• Ability to use lift gates attached to trucks.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Drivers License required.
• DOT Medical card.
• Time management.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn.
• Working Cellular Device.
