Part-Time Video Editor & Videographer – Cars with Miles
📍 Location: North Jersey (Newark, NJ & surrounding areas)
💰 Pay: Starting at $30/hour (based on experience)
🕒 Schedule: Flexible, in-person a couple of days a week + remote work
Cars with Miles is looking for a part-time video editor to join our growing team! We create high-quality car reviews for YouTube & Social Media Platforms, from short-form social media videos to long-form storytelling reviews.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Proficient Video Editor – Comfortable with Final Cut Pro & Mac OS X
✔ Fast Learner – Can quickly adapt to an established editing style.
✔ Creative & Self-Motivated – Able to take initiative on projects, contribute fresh ideas, and bring creative visions to life.
✔ Detail-Oriented – Ensures accuracy in cuts, transitions, and overall video quality.
✔ Team Player – Open to collaboration and feedback to improve final products.
✔ Growth-Oriented – Interested in growing with the company as we expand our video production projects.
Requirements:
• Must be located in the TSA (New Jersey or NYC)
• Ability to work in-person a couple of days per week, with flexibility to work remotely on other days.
• Must provide a portfolio showcasing video editing work.
• No formal education required – self-taught editors are welcome!
• Experienced with Mirrorless cameras
• Must have access to a vehicle to meet on-location for shoots
What You’ll Be Doing:
🎬 Editing short-form social media content and long-form video projects.
🎥 Video Production (Primarily rolling shots & fly-bys)
🎨 Bringing creative ideas to the table for new projects.
📈 Helping maintain a consistent visual style across all content.
🖥️ Working both in-person and remotely based on project needs.
