Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital campaigns to increase awareness, readership, and engagement
- Manage and grow the Observatorys presence on social media platforms
- Execute comment marketing campaigns to engage with various audiences and promote specific articles that would be interesting to particular groups/topic channels (e.g., Reddit, Discord, Quora, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
- Collaborate with editors and subject experts to promote newly published content
- Analyze performance data to refine outreach strategies
- Assist with SEO and content marketing efforts to boost visibility
- Support email marketing initiatives and newsletter campaigns
Qualifications
- Experience in digital marketing, social media strategy, or content promotion
- Strong communication skills and the ability to distill complex ideas into compelling messaging
- Passion for public education, knowledge?sharing, and global issues
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Commitment to the Observatorys mission and values
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Canva, Hootsuite, or similar
