About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Public and Government Affairs to lead and execute comprehensive strategies that align with business objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the external environment by anticipating and addressing legislative, regulatory, and political issues. This role involves building and maintaining strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including senior policymakers and regulatory officials, to influence the development of favorable laws and standards. The VP will also serve as the chief representative of the company in various government forums, ensuring the company's voice is heard and respected. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' senior-level experience in government affairs, public policy, or regulatory strategy, with a strong background in legislative processes at all levels. The role requires a leader with proven executive presence, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the political landscape. The VP will be expected to mentor and develop a high-performing team, as well as collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure message consistency and brand alignment.
