We are currently recruiting a for TIG Welder/Fabricator at our Newport, MN location. The city of Newport is located in Washington County along the Mississippi River, southeast of the city of Saint Paul.

The Newport, MN operation creates customized looks and creations with stainless steel or any material for commercial kitchens. We have openings on 1st shift.

As a TIG Welder/Fabricator your job responsibilities include:

\n
• Fabrication of all commercial food industry products - ranging from cabinets, counters, food, breath guards, etc.
\n
• Experience with stainless steel sheet metal.
\n
• Analyze plans, drawings, layouts, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of sheet metal assignments, as well as the ability to interpret shop drawings, sketches, layouts, and blueprints.
\n
• Knowledge of welding techniques to include TIG, MIG, Wire Feed, and Spot.
\n
• Independently work to produce complex sheet metal assemblies.
\n
• Complete understanding of flat metal layout considering growth and bend allowance.
\n
• Complete understanding of press brake forming techniques and brake sequences is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

The starting salary range for this position is $24 - $29 per hour ($49,920 - $60,320) per year. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
