A long-standing luxury retail company based in Inglewood, CA is seeking an experienced Accountant to support their day‐to‐day accounting operations and help drive monthly financial processes for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, and compiling supporting schedules to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with maintaining and reconciling key balance sheet accounts, including inventory, prepaid expenses, and accruals, under the guidance of senior accounting staff and the CFO.
• Support AP/AR teams to process vendor invoices, match POs, monitor payments, and support customer billing
• Help prepare recurring financial reports and dashboards to support internal stakeholders and ensure visibility into operational performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong Excel skills; experience with pivot tables, lookups, etc.
• Detail-oriented and eager to learn, with a process-improvement mindset
