Job Title: Chief Marketing Officer

Department: Corporate

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer

FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Summary:

The Chief Marketing Officer (“CMO”) is responsible for providing executive strategic leadership over Our Client’s sales and marketing activities. This is a highly strategic and visible position responsible for the company’s overall commercial strategies and revenue growth, with direct oversight and management of the Marketing and Sales Departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develops and executes commercial strategies and initiatives designed to achieve Our Client’s goals.
• Oversees the personnel, budget, and activities of Our Client’s Marketing and Sales Departments.
• Leads Our Client’s marketing and branding strategies to grow the company’s brand and store sales.
• Manages business-to-business sales efforts to achieve Our Client’s fuel sales targets.
• Instills a strong company focus on improving customer experience and satisfaction.
• Implements data-driven approaches and key performance indicators to monitor performance and progress.
• Collaborates with the CFO on budgeting and forecasting financial performance.
• Maintains a deep knowledge of the markets and industries in which Our Client conducts business.
• All other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the CEO.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and MBA (or an equivalent) are required.
• Proven experience in other senior-level leadership positions with a commercial focus.
• Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision.
• Excellent knowledge of sales and marketing strategic planning.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, marketing, finance, and performance management principles.
• Demonstrated ability to hire and develop top talent.
