Key Activities/Responsibilities
\n - Review work order, pull necessary equipment, position work piece and operate various machines through production runs to form specified quantities to defined tolerances
\n - Analyze and interpret blueprint, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces.
\n - Plan machine set ups, position work piece and operate various machines through production runs to form specified quantities of piece parts to specified tolerances.
\n - Deburr parts as needed
\n - Monitor machine functions to ensure that parts are manufactured to defined specifications
\n - Perform first piece inspections and make necessary adjustment to machine to ensure parts are formed to designated tolerances
\n - Complete inspection reports as required and repair any defects found and document critical quality information as necessary
\n - Perform preventative maintenance and ensure machines are operating optimally
\n - Communicate with managers, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve quality issues
\n - Act as subject matter expert and train co-workers as requested
\n - Document outstanding issues either written or verbally to ensure smooth transition between shift
\n - Cross train in other areas of Operations (assembly, shipping and receiving). Develop proficiency in multiple areas in order to assist in other area as business need change
\n - Maintain a neat and orderly work area complying with all 5S initiatives and advise
\n - Follow and comply with all safety and personal protective equipment requirements
\n - Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements \n - High School Diploma or GED equivalent
\n - Certificate in Machining Technologies or equivalent experience
\n - Minimum 3 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment, required
\n - Ability to read and interpret Blueprints/Technical Drawings
\n - Ability to perform various machining operation in accordance with part specifications
\n

Pay Transparency Anticipated hourly wage: $20/hour - 21/hour depending on level of previous experience.
