About the Role  

The Customer Success Representative will play a vital role in the customer experience and growth of aspectLED. This position combines customer relationship management and sales acumen to enhance customer satisfaction and increase revenue. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building relationships, have a deep understanding of our products, and be skilled in identifying and addressing customer needs. 

 

Compensation Structure   

This is a salaried (exempt, at-will) position. Base salary of $50,000 - $60,000 based on previous experience plus incentive based on team and individual results per the aspectLED Annual Sales Compensation Plan.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Collaborate as part of a team of Customer Success Representatives to support our customers, deliver a great customer experience, and provide expert consultation. 
  • Conduct inside sales activities responding to customer contacts through phone, online chat, and email. Typical inbound requests require a consultative approach to answer product-related questions, build quotations, assist with order placement, close sales, handle order status inquiries, complete returns, and assist with other needs/inquiries. 
  • Manage a book of key accounts.
  • Hunt for new opportunities by targeting and engaging prospects. 
  • Occasionally serve as project manager for complex custom projects for customers.
  • Meet or exceed SLAs (service-level agreements) to support customers.
  • Qualify incoming leads and generate new leads through outbound activity.
  • Represent aspectLED in handling customer complaints and offer solutions utilizing your best judgement.
  • Track all sales opportunities within a CRM system and drive towards moving every opportunity through the sales process with effective follow-up, negotiation, and ultimately winning deals. Maintain data hygiene. Effectively follow up on quotes to increase close rates. 
  • Be a product expert to confidently share expertise with customers. 
  • Participate in the Customer Success team quarterly planning meetings to develop long-term and short-term business objectives to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure the customer’s needs and business needs are met or exceeded. 
  • Represent the company at trade shows. 

 

 

Needs to Have   

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field; or the ability to demonstrate sufficient previous experience in a sales or customer service role 
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and problem solve
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge in Microsoft Office programs
  • Minimal travel, but must be willing to travel for the occasional event, customer visit or trade show

 

Nice to Have   

  • Previous experience working with low voltage electrical, lighting, and/or construction
  • Previous sales training
  • Lighting industry experience 
  • CRM expertise 

 

Work Schedule and Location   

This is a full-time exempt position that will primarily work in office, with the opportunity to work 1 day per week remotely. Our office is located at 4900 Constellation Drive, St. Paul, MN 55127.

 

Phones and chats will need to be covered amongst the Customer Success Team between 7:30 am – 5:30 pm Monday – Friday. The team will maintain a regular schedule to support customers and will collaborate with each other to ensure coverage when schedule variations arise.
