Job Title: Global Sourcing Manager- Electronics

Location: Highland Park, IL

Salary: $130,000-$185,000+Bonus

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Global Sourcing Manager (Electronics) to join our client's organization in the Highland Park, IL area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working as a Global Team: Ability to work as part of a virtual global team to collaborate across geographic and organizational boundaries to deliver better business results and share best practices across a global team
• Lead the development and execution of global sourcing strategies for assigned categories to deliver cost savings, innovation, and supplier value.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance standards are met and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Strong knowledge of Electronics industry best practices and technology trends.
• Exhibits subject matter expertise regarding commercial and technology trends, to advise internal users on current and future market capabilities.
• Drive negotiations for high-value contracts, focusing on cost optimization, quality, delivery performance, and risk management.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, and geopolitical factors.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align sourcing strategies with corporate goals.
• Driving cost reduction and efficiency improvements through the identification of new suppliers and innovative sourcing strategies.

Key Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in a high volatile global strategic sourcing environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or related field.
• Experience working with contract/3rd party manufacturers
• Ability to lead international teams and international cross functional teams
• Strong overall knowledge of the Supply Chain, including sourcing and procurement, demand/supply planning, inventory deployment, and logistics and fulfillment.
• Experience in working with components manufacturer is a must, in multiple types of components categories (MCUs, Memories, Actives.. etc)
• Experience managing and mentoring teams
• Strong interpersonal and change management skills
