We are looking for an experienced In House Counsel to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will provide legal expertise for investment management and fund operations, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all processes. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with a solid background in corporate finance and legal documentation.

Responsibilities:
• Draft, review, and update fund-related legal documents to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Coordinate and oversee investment processes to facilitate smooth operations.
• Analyze and negotiate commercial contracts, ensuring they align with corporate objectives.
• Provide legal counsel on matters related to corporate finance and regulatory compliance.
• Review and manage documentation related to investment and fund management.
• Utilize legal software tools to streamline auditing and claim administration tasks.
• Conduct thorough assessments of contracts and agreements to identify potential risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal challenges and opportunities.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant laws and regulations to advise on compliance matters.
• Support the development and implementation of best practices for legal documentation and processes.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in legal counsel roles, preferably in investment or fund management.
• Proficiency in legal software applications such as ACRIS and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance, commercial contracts, and law regulations.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate contracts with precision.
• Familiarity with tools like HRMS for documentation and administrative tasks.
• Experience in auditing and claim administration processes.
• Excellent analytical skills to assess legal risks and ensure compliance.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams.
