Position Overview: The Lawgical Firm is seeking a seasoned federal litigator licensed in Texas with expert-level experience in U.S. District Courts — not mere exposure. The ideal candidate has a command of federal procedure, dispositive motion practice, and courtroom advocacy within the the *Western* District of Texas. Additional federal admissions will be considered. This role involves working collaboratively with a dynamic litigation team handling commercial and residential first party property insurance cases. The firm will provide a relocation stipend for candidates located outside of Austin. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage state and federal cases from inception through trial or resolution. Draft, argue, and win substantive motions — including summary judgment and Daubert challenges. Oversee expert discovery, depositions, and federal procedural strategy. Collaborate closely with clients, expert witnesses, and firm leadership to drive litigation outcomes. Supervise and mentor legal teams and assistants. Qualifications Team-oriented leader with an ability to mentor and guide staff. Law degree from a fully accredited law school. An active member in good standing with the Texas State Bar Association (Preferred) Prior defense or plaintiff First Party Property litigation. Prior Civil Federal Litigation required. (Preferred) Expert Fluency in English and either Spanish or Vietnamese. Willingness to relocate to Austin, TX. A stipend will be provided Ability to work in the Austin office located at 504 W. 38th Street, Austin, TX 78705. Self-starter driven by long-term career goals. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent computer, research, writing and oral advocacy skills. At least 5 years of civil litigation experience, with proven command of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, local district rules, and CM/ECF filing systems.
