Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the chemical industry, is seeking a dedicated Production Operator 3rd Shift to join their team. As a Production Operator 3rd Shift, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting production processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Operator 3rd Shift

Location: Holden, MA

Pay Range: $18 to $20 upon experience 

Shift: Night (40 hours) Sunday - Thursday 11:00pm - 7:30 am

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate equipment that blends, mixes, packages, and transports liquid or dry chemicals to produce customer products.
• Ensure the highest quality standards are met while maintaining cost efficiency and adhering to safety protocols.
• Monitor production processes, troubleshoot equipment issues, and perform necessary adjustments.
• Conduct visual and physical inspections of materials to ensure compliance with standards.
• Complete all required documentation, logs, and data reports accurately and timely.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, plastics, colorant, blending, or extrusion processes.
• Ability to lift and move up to 55 pounds regularly and handle up to 250 pounds occasionally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and good reading and comprehension skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
