In this role, you’ll be pivotal in maintaining and building Magento-based eCommerce websites. As a Senior Magento Developer, you will: Lead Magento Development: Design, develop, and optimize Magento-based eCommerce solutions, including custom module development, theme creation, and integration of third-party extensions. Architect Solutions: Work with project managers and the client to determine requirements and author technical specifications based on those requirements. Enhance Performance: Implement performance tuning techniques, including caching strategies, database optimization, and code refactoring to ensure high-performing Magento applications. Collaborate Closely: Work with project managers and designers to ensure that each project achieves its full potential. You should be: Magento Expert: Have extensive experience with Magento 2, including Object–oriented php development, custom module creation, and theme customization. Proficient in Magento Tools: Familiarity with Magento tools and technologies, such as Composer, Magento CLI, and deployment processes. Proficient in Git Version Control Knowledgeable in Payment Integration: Experience integrating various payment gateways and APIs within Magento. Familiar with eCommerce Best Practices: Understand eCommerce best practices, including UX/UI design, conversion optimization, and analytics. Collaborative: A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. Adaptable and Eager to Learn: Not afraid to work hard, ask questions, and embrace new technologies and methodologies. Extra Credit If You Have: A solid understanding of SEO principles and their application in Magento. Experience working with SOAP and/or REST APIs. Flexible Work from Home Schedule: Fluid workday hours (we just ask that you find time for 8 hours of work). Freedom to choose a hybrid WFH and/or in-office schedule.
