JOB SUMMARY Work independently and follow the overall work schedule, as determined by the department leader. Clean molds and complete mold changeovers to meet schedule requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES \n ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES \n Follow & update IQMS RT Scheduler mold requirements, as determined by the planner \n Green-tag readied molds; move to staging area in molding department \n Disassemble & clean molds; inspect for problems. \n Install changeover parts, as required \n Take measurements to determine wear & proper sizes of pins, bushings, and hold dimensions \n Keep records up to date, including mold tagging system. \n Other duties as assigned \n Practice good housekeeping and appropriate measures to prevent pollution or other negative impacts on the environment \n Use had power tools, Bridgeport's, Grinders and lathes \n Able to train Machinist III \n Able to use the Ice Blaster as required \n Able to supervise and lean team workload \n Able to work with outside vendors and create requisitions \n Able to work with the molding team, press side. \n Able to diagnose tooling/molding issues \n \n EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS \n High School diploma or equivalent \n Minimum 8 years of experience working with industrial machinery and/or automotive in a mechanical aspect \n Experience working with injection molds, preferred \n Experience with forklift and pallet jack operation, preferred \n \n SKILLS & ABILITIES \n Math and reading comprehension \n Ability to read and understand work instructions \n Ability to read, write, speak and understand English \n Mechanical aptitude \n Ability to read and understand micrometers and calibers, preferred \n Able to read 2D and 3D CAD \n \n WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS Manufacturing environment. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
