TRAINING AND PRODUCTION COORDINATOR
VPR Patient Outreach Program (VPR POP) connects our clients to the greatest resource in healthcare: the patient. We develop programs and resources that unite people living with progressive and rare diseases with others who are managing the same condition, sparking education and inspiration in patient communities across the country. Headquartered in Kansas City, we offer development, recruiting, training, management, creative services, and logistic support to clients in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
We are looking for a driven, organized and passionate candidate to coordinate training events, video shoots, photo shoots, and setting up contracts with newly identified contractors. The perfect fit will be someone who enjoys connecting with others, performs well under pressure, is tech savvy (able to be trained on our scheduling software and database), a strong communicator, and truly cares about making a difference for others.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Training and Production Coordinator’s responsibilities will include:
· Patient speaker contracting, including preparing and sending contracts via Docusign, adding signed contracts to database and shared drive, maintaining a list of contract expiration dates and informing program managers of upcoming expirations via email three months in advance
· Venue research for training summits and other events, contracting, creating rooming lists, securing appropriate AV equipment, BEO management, securing photography and makeup artistry services for headshots and group shots, securing group ground transportation and securing decorations, props, etc. as needed
· All aspects of video production, including researching subject and crew availability, securing crew and booking crew travel, scheduling preproduction calls, securing props and wardrobe, securing makeup artists and checks for day-of-shoot payment, securing teleprompters when needed, creating and distributing production schedules, ordering meals for delivery to shoots, determining total project hours and facilitating payment to subjects
· Ad hoc project assignments, as needed
Travel will be required to various locations to facilitate the coordination of training events and video shoots. The majority of the job will be conducted from our offices on the Country Club Plaza from 9:00-5:00 Monday through Friday (and, during summer months, from 9:00-1:00 Fridays).
